The latest issue of the British Journal of Political Science, 38.2 (2008) has four papers of interest:
Very belatedly I came across a themed issue of the British Journal of Industrial Relations, 25.2 (1997) which was devoted to fifty years of nationalisation in Britain. A number of papers are of interest, especially for those with an interest in the coal industry and industrial relations:
On monetary policy, and more TL then TGP, and also more American then one would wish for in terms of thinking about Britain, the following is fairly accessible to non-economists and should provoke thought about monetarism in Britain in the 1980s:
Goodfriend, M. (2007) ?How the world achieved consensus on monetary policy?, Journal of Economic Perspectives, 21 (4), pp. 47-68.
