The announcement of Milton Friedman’s death (16.11.06) has been accompanied by much comment (albeit of very variable quality) about his contribution to the revival of neo-liberalism and his campaign against Keynesian economics.

One of the HET lists I subscribe to includes a collection of articles on Friedman and his contribution to politics and economics on both sides of the Atlantic (and beyond). The Cato Institute provides a useful (if predictable) tribute along with other useful resources on Friedman and his times. Of the obituaries, that by the Economist will be of most relevance to Thatcherism’s Legacy.
