The current issue of Prospect, 127 (October 2006) has a series of very relevant pieces on the theme of the ‘end of the Blair show’, pp. 22-40. I also profited from reading David Willetts on what he thinks the Conservative Party have learnt from New Labour. Having watched some of the party faithful at Bournemouth last weekend I wonder how many of the core vote believe that they have learnt the same things that Willett professes to have learnt.
